Terms of use
These terms are an agreement between you and RitmoFuel, Brazil ("we", "us"), for the RitmoFuel app and website. By using RitmoFuel you accept these terms and our privacy policy.
1. Who can use RitmoFuel
You must be 18 or older. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details safe.
2. What RitmoFuel is
RitmoFuel helps you log meals by photo, voice or text and suggests foods and amounts. Suggestions come from AI and from a food list, and they are estimates that can be wrong. Always check them before you save.
3. Not medical advice
RitmoFuel is not a medical device and does not give medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Targets are your own or a calculated starting point. Talk to a doctor or a registered dietitian before changing your diet, especially if you are pregnant, have a medical condition, or have had an eating disorder.
4. Free plan and ads
RitmoFuel is free to use with a monthly limit of AI suggestions. The free plan shows ads to adults, as described in the privacy policy. Rewarded ads are optional. Manual logging always works, even when the AI limit is reached.
5. Plus and the 40-day pass
- Plus is an optional subscription that removes ads and adds more suggestions. Prices are shown in the app before you buy.
- Payment is charged to your Apple or Google account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- A free trial, when offered (for example 7 days on the yearly plan for new subscribers), turns into a paid subscription unless you cancel before it ends.
- Manage or cancel in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. See Support for the steps.
- The 40-day pass is a one-time purchase that does not renew.
- Refunds for purchases made in the app are handled by Apple or Google under their refund rules, because they take the payment: on iPhone, ask at reportaproblem.apple.com; on Android, in Google Play (Google Play refunds). This does not affect your rights as a consumer. If you are a consumer in Brazil, you can withdraw from a purchase within 7 days of making it (Código de Defesa do Consumidor, art. 49): ask Apple or Google for the refund as above, and write to us at support@ritmofuel.com if you need help.
- Limits and features of each plan may change; we will not reduce what you already paid for during a paid period.
6. Fair use
Do not misuse RitmoFuel: no attempts to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service, no automated access, no unlawful or harmful content, and no use of the AI features for anything other than logging food. We may limit or suspend access to protect the service or other users.
7. Your content
Your meals, photos and text remain yours. You give us permission to process them only to run the app for you, as described in the privacy policy.
8. Our content
The app, its design, the mascot, the food list and the RitmoFuel name belong to us or our licensors. You may use them only through the app for personal, non-commercial use.
9. Third-party services
RitmoFuel uses services from Apple, Google, RevenueCat and AI providers. Their own terms also apply to your use of their services.
10. Apple App Store
If you got RitmoFuel from the App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. Apple is not responsible for the app or its support, and has no obligation to provide maintenance. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms.
11. Changes and availability
We may update the app, add or remove features, or stop the service. If we stop it, we will give reasonable notice where we can. We may change these terms; the date above shows the latest version, and important changes are announced in the app.
12. Ending your use
You can stop using RitmoFuel and delete your account at any time. We may close accounts that break these terms.
13. Disclaimer and liability
RitmoFuel is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions you make based on estimates in the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country.
14. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. If you use RitmoFuel as a consumer, this choice does not take away the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in the courts where you live when that law allows it. Consumers in Brazil can always use the courts of their own home (Código de Defesa do Consumidor, art. 101). In all other cases, the courts of the place of our registered office in Brazil have jurisdiction.
